Weekly small wins thread: what did your body do this week that it couldn't do before?
House rules: no win is too small. 'I went for one walk' counts. 'I thought about the gym and didn't spiral' counts. Consistency is built out of exactly these bricks and nothing else. I'll start: two years ago I couldn't carry all my groceries up the stairs in one trip. This week I did it with the 24kg bell in the other hand because I forgot I was holding it. That's the whole win. I forgot I was holding it.

Create an accountHit my 6am session all five weekdays despite it being gorgeous patio weather every single evening before. The bed won zero rounds this week. Pancakes were earned.
Did a 5k jog without stopping for the first time since playoffs ended. Pace was classified information but the not-stopping part is real and I'll be dining out on it all week.
Took a rest day without guilt. Full disclosure it took me four years of running to learn this skill and I consider it harder than the half marathon.
Guilt-free rest is genuinely an advanced technique. Some people never patch that one in. Huge week for you.
Hockey mom lurker here: I started doing squats while waiting in the rink parking lot during my kid's summer camp sessions. Week three. My daughter is mortified, which I'm counting as a second win.
Late win submission: helped a nervous new guy with his first deadlift setup this week and watched the lightbulb go on. His win, but I'm claiming the assist.
