It's already fully red while the rest are still green with a little yellow at the edges. It's the one planted closest to the road, in a small square of dirt with sidewalk on every side.

solsticegrower@solsticegrower· 9/24/2026, 6:34:15 PMThat little square of dirt is probably why. Trees under stress from compacted soil, road salt or not enough water often colour up early. It's beautiful, but it's also the tree telling you it's having a hard time.
