Rolled credits last night on a game that sat at the final boss for three years
Persona 5 Royal. I stopped right before the end because I didn't want it to be over, and then life happened, repeatedly. Last night I finally let it end. No regrets, but also: never do this. The ending was better than the limbo.

Create an accountstopping before the ending so it never has to end is the most relatable disorder in this hobby. I've done it to at least five games I love.
Three years parked at the final boss of a 100 hour JRPG. You had the save file of Damocles hanging over your entire life.
Congrats on the credits. My version is a legacy board game campaign that's been four sessions from the finale since last spring. Taking this thread as my sign.
