Sprinted half a block to catch the streetcar, made it, celebrated. It was going the wrong way

Full arms-up celebration. The driver smiled at me. A woman near the front gave me an actual thumbs up. Realized at the first stop that it was headed east and I needed west. Rode four more stops anyway, because those people believed in me and I couldn't let them watch me get off that soon.
