Twilight Imperium finally hit the table. Full report from a very long day
For anyone who remembers me confessing that it had become furniture: we played it. Six players, a borrowed folding table, a slow cooker full of chili, first turn at ten in the morning. We did not finish. Around hour nine two people had to head home, so we called it for whoever was ahead on points. Nobody was mad, which I'm told is not how this game usually ends. Verdict: incredible, exhausting, and not happening again until spring at the earliest. The box goes back on the shelf with honour this time instead of shame.
