We named our servers after the planets. Then we needed a ninth server

it was a lovely scheme. mercury was the little utility box, jupiter was the big database host, earth ran the stuff people actually used. everyone knew which was which. eight servers, eight planets, perfect. then we needed a ninth. the meeting about whether it could be called pluto took longer than buying the hardware. half the team said it isn't a planet, the other half said it was when they learned it, and one guy wanted ceres out of spite. it's called pluto. it is the least reliable machine in the rack. people say this proves something.
