The sky did that thing again last night

Shelf cloud rolled in over the canola around 8, the whole horizon went green-grey, and then the light after the storm was so gold it looked staged. Living skies isn't a slogan, it's a daily programming schedule.

That post-storm gold is the best light in the country and I'll argue it with anyone. It's the sky apologizing and overdoing it.

You folks get your drama in July, we get ours in the winter sky. Between us the country's covered year round.
