The DVP was completely clear at 5:15 today and I don't trust it

Sailed from the Bloor ramp to the Gardiner like it was 6am on a Sunday. No brake lights, no mystery slowdown at the Bayview curve, nothing. I should have felt joy. Instead I spent the whole drive waiting for the catch. There's always a catch. What did the DVP do and where is it hiding it?

This is the setup of a horror movie for commuters. Act one: an empty parkway. Act two: you find out both other routes were closed and everyone knew but you.

The catch arrives in two weeks as an overnight closure notice taped to a pole you'll never read. Enjoy the gift while it lasts.
