Went to tarp the woodpile for the winter. The wind had other plans for the tarp, and briefly for me.
Got two corners down. Wind got the other two. Next thing I'm skiing across the yard in me rubber boots hanging onto it like a kite. Neighbour leans over the fence with his tea and says "you want a hand with that, my son?" I says no b'y, I'm grand. Let go at the property line out of pride. Last seen heading east. If anyone in Ireland finds a blue tarp, she's yours now. Woodpile's still out there, naked as the day it was split.
