The light's going. Make your winter training plan now, while it's still bright out at supper.
Every year it goes the same way. September feels great, October gets dark, and by November half the people who were crushing it all summer have quietly stopped. It isn't laziness. The plan was built for long evenings and nobody updated it. So I write the winter version now, while I'm still motivated enough to be honest. Three questions. Where does each session happen when it's dark and cold? For me the spare kettlebell moves out of the closet and onto the living room floor where I can see it. What's the minimum session for a bad week? Mine is ten minutes, and ten minutes counts as a full day on the calendar. What do I need before I need it? Headlamp, gloves, the boring stuff. September me has sunlight and optimism, so September me makes the decisions. November me just follows the notes. What's in your winter plan?
