Yes, wireless is convenient. But my wired mouse has never died mid-match, never needed a firmware update, never had its dongle eaten by the couch, and will still work in fifteen years. Meanwhile I own three sets of wireless earbuds in various states of one-bud-works. The batteries are wear items nobody can replace, so a perfectly good speaker and mic get binned because a tiny cell wore out. Couch setups need wireless, I get it. But at a desk? The cable is not the inconvenience we pretend it is.
