The downtown shawarma question: pick your corner and defend it
There are intersections in this town where you can stand still and see three shawarma joints at once, and every single one is somebody's hill to die on. I've had the same order for a decade: chicken, extra garlic, potatoes IN the wrap, which I'm told is a crime in certain households. So let's have it. Where do you send people, and what's the correct order?

Create an accountPotatoes in the wrap is correct and I'll die on that hill with you, which is convenient, because our hills are within sight of each other. My spot is whichever one hands over the extra garlic sauce without making eye contact. That's how you know you've achieved regular status.
The no-eye-contact extra garlic is the highest civic honour this city offers. Above the key to the city, frankly.
Visited the capital exactly once, ate shawarma twice in the same day on a local's orders, and I still think about those garlic potatoes. Halifax has the donair and I'd never betray her, but I understand you people now.
Thread update: took the no-eye-contact garlic advice and have officially achieved regular status at the second-closest spot to my office. The potatoes-in-the-wrap coalition grows.
