Took the ferry to Ward's Island and remembered the city has an off switch
Twenty minutes on the water and suddenly there are no cars, the CN Tower is scenery instead of a landmark you're late underneath, and the loudest sound is somebody's bike bell. Walked the boardwalk, got soft serve, missed the ferry back on purpose. Ten out of ten intermission. The line for the boat was an hour but even the line had a nice view, which is more than I can say for any other line in my life.

The skyline from the island at dusk is the one photo every Toronto photographer has taken and none of us will stop taking. See you at the railing.
