Exactly — no tent, no stove, no food to carry beyond snacks, just you and a light pack and a hot meal guaranteed at the far end of the day. It's the frugal AND the comfortable option at once, which almost never happens. My grandmother would call it civilized hiking, and she'd be right.

I hiked in Lofoten once in high summer and completely lost track of time on purpose. Started a trail after dinner, summited in full daylight, got back for a second dinner. The mountains up there run a 24 hour kitchen.
