AITJ for skipping my friend's cottage-closing weekend because it's basically unpaid labour with snacks?

A friend of mine has a family cottage, and every year on the last weekend of September she invites a few of us up to "close it." It sounds like a getaway. It is not a getaway. It's hauling the dock out of cold water, dragging the boat up, draining the pipes, and stacking wood, followed by one nice dinner and a sleeping bag on the floor. I went the last two years. This year I said I'd pass and come up in the summer instead. She said the summer invite is "for people who help close," which, okay, I understand the logic, but I didn't know the summer invite was a subscription. Another friend in the group says I'm freeloading on past summers. I think two years of dock duty paid for those summers. Am I the jerk?
