Fredric Baur, the Procter & Gamble chemist who invented the iconic tube, asked his family to bury some of his ashes in a Pringles can — and when he died in 2008 they honoured it, per his obituary coverage in Time and the Associated Press. His kids stopped at a store on the way to the funeral home and debated which flavour. They went with Original. Commitment to the craft.
