Yes, I know my stance on the paid bridge. This is the other Capilano. Capilano River Regional Park, same river, no ticket booth, and a hatchery with viewing windows right onto the fish ladder. Went this morning after the rain and watched coho fling themselves up the steps one after another like they'd read a motivational poster. Then walked up to the Cleveland Dam for the view. Ranked: salmon 10/10, dam 8/10, the dad explaining salmon to his kid completely wrong but with total confidence, 11/10.
