The equinox lands this evening, and I'm choosing to call it a tie

Twelve hours of light and twelve of dark, give or take some fine print. From here the dark gets a little more of the day, every day, until December, and I won't pretend I love that part. But the garlic goes in soon, and planting something in the fall that you won't see until spring is the most stubborn kind of hope I know. So: a tie. I'll take a tie.
